Welcome Marlynna to The Inn!

Marlynna WilsonWe are excited to introduce our newest team member at The Inn, Marlynna Wilson! In her role as administrative assistant, she provides support for all of our staff and personally assists our campus directors.

About two years ago, Marlynna was invited by a friend to a Sunday service here at The Inn. She enjoyed her visit and began attending regularly. During that time, she started a new job that required her to work on Sundays, which meant she was no longer able to attend our church services. She found this unacceptable, as being part of a group of believers and worshiping God are among her highest priorities. She ended up quitting her job and shortly thereafter was contacted by our Director, Seth Williams, about a job opening at The Inn.

“God provided the position. I was, and am, so very grateful and happy for this opportunity to serve Him,” Marlynna said.

Her background includes working as an accountant for the Pacific Stars and Stripes newspaper in Guam. She also performed a variety of administrative assistant roles while working as a teacher for the Department of Defense Schools with the USAF.

Marlynna grew up in Colonie, a small town in upstate New York near Albany. Her 26 years with the USAF allowed her to travel the world, and she moved back to the U.S. in 2003. She has lived in Franklin, NC since 2014.

In her free time, Marlynna enjoys writing music, playing the guitar and piano, singing, hiking, cleaning and watching classic television series/movies. She has two grown children, two beautiful grandchildren (with another on the way), and six granddogs.

When asked what her favorite thing is about working at The Inn, Marlynna said, “I love the fellowship of believers and the freedom to speak openly about Jesus with my teammates and others we come into contact with here. I really love our times of Bible Study and worship.”

We are thankful the Lord brought Marlynna to us, and we pray blessings over her service here!
