This is the season when we see new life sprouting up all around us. Springtime is a beautiful reminder that what was once dead can be raised to life again. When the proper elements are present—sun, water, healthy soil—growth is virtually unstoppable.
The same is true in our lives and even in our ministry at The Inn. When we have what we need to grow, the sky is the limit! Our mission is to cultivate healthy leaders, healthy marriages and healthy families, but first, we must establish a healthy organization. We can’t pour out from an empty cup.
There are many costs associated with our 24/7 residential ministry. From basic necessities like food, heat and electricity to transportation, building maintenance and groundskeeping, our monthly operational expenses are significant. A stable, monthly income is required to keep our ministry running smoothly without interruption.
That’s where our Innkeepers come into play. These donors have committed to supporting our ministry through monthly, recurring gifts. So far, just a handful of people have decided to partner with us in this manner, so we are launching our Healthy Things Grow spring fundraiser to build a strong foundation of monthly support. Our goal is to enlist at least 50 new individuals, couples or businesses who will answer the call to become Innkeepers.
Want to know how your contribution makes a difference? Here are a few recent testimonies:
“We wanted to express our appreciation to The Inn, as they’ve been one of our biggest partners in providing a service to the foster community here in Macon County during our foster family nights. This is where local churches provide free childcare so foster parents can go out for a date night. Meanwhile, folks from The Inn will take care of the kids for a couple of hours, give them food, love on them and teach them about Jesus.” – Jenny & Tripp Lewis
“I wanted to express my deep gratitude for The Inn joining forces with Pure Hope Foundation. When our interns are able to intern at your camps, it provides invaluable experiences for them. You offer insights into family dynamics, parenting skills, and how to have a healthy marriage—areas most have had little exposure to in the past because of their trauma. In addition, the adventures they take and friendships they form are priceless. Your partnership has become an integral component in how our interns heal from trafficking. We are thankful for your collaboration.” – J.D.
“We attended The Inn many years ago as teenagers. Our sons Ethan and Samuel attended this year. It was great to see them grow spiritually, mentally and physically. We got to hear our son preach and teach for the first time, which brought tears to our eyes. We really appreciate The Inn and all the people there—all the time and effort they put into it. It changed our lives, and we hope that it changes our children’s lives as well.” – Seth & Kate Greenly
