Every summer we look forward to hosting high school students for one week of intense discipleship and adventure. Sixteen students joined us July 15-20 for Heroes Week 2024, where they were challenged both physically and spiritually.
Outdoor excursions included multiple hikes, swimming in waterfalls and learning how to start a fire. The students also received lessons in woodworking, watercolor painting, etiquette and more.
This year’s theme was “Find Hope In The Light,” which emphasized the abundant life available to us when we walk with the Father of Lights. It was a life-changing experience that included powerful worship sessions, Bible studies and intimate encounters with God. Some students were set free from addiction, mental oppression, fear and various types of bondage that had kept them from realizing their God-given potential. The presence of the Lord was tangible, and many participants said they would remember this week forever.
