Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Who Wants To Be a Star talent show! On September 21, friends, family and supporters joined us at Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts to watch more than 20 acts take the stage to compete for the $1,000 grand prize. Performers traveled from locations such as Georgia, Ohio, South Carolina and cities throughout North Carolina to share instrumental, singing, dancing, gymnastics and other special talents.
This year’s winner is eight-year-old Averie Morgan from Hayesville, North Carolina. The adorable diva-in-the-making stole the show with her performance of the old country standard, “Blue.”
Each of our contestants gave phenomenal performances, and we are grateful for their participation in this year’s talent show.
