Honoring Sally Fesperman:
Her Life & Ministry
Sally Fesperman and her husband, Jay, opened The Inn of Last Resort in 1971. Together they spent their lives ministering to couples and families, bringing the Kingdom of God a little closer to earth.
Sally was a prayer warrior, and she loved to share the Word of God with anyone who crossed her path. She also had a heart for young people and spent over 70 years sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Jay went on to glory in 1992, and Sally joined him on January 19, 2025, at the age of 98. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Remembering Sally
“I have this quote by Sally written at the beginning of Galatians: ‘Give God room in our lives to be great in us.’ I don’t remember the teaching context, but I always think of her and our time at the Inn when I see it. It causes me to pause and examine my life to find room.”
Nikki Pons Corbin
“Sally truly changed my life forever with her teaching on forgiveness. Sally said in her message that ‘forgiveness is like putting up a big sign in your front yard for all to see that says: I, Sally forgive (whoever)!’ Sally taught that ‘forgiveness is not a feeling, it is a conscious choice on my part.’ God, thank you for the privilege of knowing Sally Fesperman.”

“I have no doubt God walks the property of the Inn. I also have no doubt He has walked it many times hand-in-hand with Ms. Sally. When my family came to the Inn four years ago, we saw the fragile frame of a little lady walking the drive, but we could tell by the peace on her face that her spirit was communing with the Almighty! Ms. Sally has inspired us to not just know about God but to walk with Him daily.”

“One clear memory I have of Sally is the Sunday after Corrie ten Boom died, Sally went up front and opened her Bible to read to the church the 91st Psalm in honor of a woman who knew what dwelling in the secret place of the Most High meant. So did her friend, Sally Fesperman.”
